Utterly fabulous meal

As we draw to the close of a fabulous two weeks during which my sister Ruth and her partner Dennis have enjoyed their vacation here,  they took me out for a gorgeous dinner at Sarasota's Mediterraneo Restaurant.

The place lived up to its reputation, so it was indeed fine dining.

Whilst my sister and brother in  law enjoyed Mote Marine's "Morning Rounds"

Penne and I walked around Sarasota's  Ken Thompson Park.

Penne rejoiced in so many new smells

I enjoyed the view across Sarasota Bay

Later in the day Penne's English Aunt and Uncle bought her a new bed.

A convocation of Turkey Vultures

A convocation of Turkey Vultures at Myakka River State Park (FL)  today.

I was there with my sister Ruth and her partner Dennis.  We are enjoying rural  parts of South West Florida, away from the over-developed Cities and the "attractions" such as Disney (blah).

Sitting tall in the saddle

6th November 2016.  We went horseback riding on the trails of Myakka State Forest.
