The background I have known the Keller/Bonsey family since 2000 when I became the Rector at St. James's, Cambridge, MA. They (Elisabeth Keller and the Revd. Steven Bonsey with their four children Noah, Sam, Josiah and Annie) had come back to Cambridge from Hawaii where Steve had been the Rector of an Episcopal parish. Why so much hatred for a group of helpful, loving people like these? Sorry that your experiences in the UK had such a negative effect on your life. But please don't blame people who choose to live according to the teachings of Jesus Christ such as Pastor Lafler and his congregation.

ReplyDeleteIt is so interesting to note that my two critics choose to remain anonymous! The Jan 8th critic missed the humour in my posting. The April 10th critic wants me to be "whacked by the Holy Spirit". (That's scarcely a biblical concept - to be whacked by the Spirit in order to understand humour!). Scripture teaches us that we are to be empowered by the Holy Spirit for the mission of God.
