From a liberalist

When and why, in popular culture, did Muslims get to be called Islamists?

Should Christians be called Christianists?

Should  Jews be called Jewists (or perhaps Judaists)?

Just a thought from a Liberalist Christianist Homosexualist.

  1. I believe that if one is an extremIST, then one acquires the IST suffix. I would think it difficult for a good Anglican/Episcoplian to be very ist, but I could be wrong. The likes of The Reverend Mr Dobson or the Reverend Mr Phelps might be called Christianists. I am not sure the same would apply to the Bishop of Pittsburgh.
